I've never ventured to read a dieting book before but this one is definitely worth it. Knox combines the science behind his unique plan with his wit, and his personal experiences and anecdotes from his own life. Highly recommended for the dieter who doesn't want to give up eating the things he or she loves.
This book is excellent. It makes you want to keep reading. I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart. For years I have felt “off” constantly feeling tired and weighed down. I had no idea how bad it was until I felt the way I should have been feeling all along. No diet, supplements or programs have ever worked, but “sin” changed my life. It saved relationships with friends and family, it helped me grow my own business with my new found energy and it has improved my quality of life ten fold. Thank you!
I like how the author applied the perspective that humans are animal beings with complex body systems still tied to our primal roots. It was interesting and very insightful to think about why our bodies react certain ways to foods and exercise. I thought the section on workout routines was very well done as well. The one drawback for me is my lack of exposure/knowledge to supplements prior to reading the book led me to be a little overwhelmed during the supplement section. If you have some experience with supplements then this section may make plenty of sense.

Overall Quality read that i would recommend to a friend.
I got sick of going from diet to diet and not seeing results. Finally I found something that works and I can stick with the program. Within a matter of weeks I lost 10 pounds and I got to eat the same foods I always eat. And I still drink my beer! I followed the delayed eating tactic and the supplement guide. Now I’m starting the muscle gaining concepts, we will see! Highly recommended! If I can do this, anyone can. Thank you SD.
I have been working with people for nutrition for over ten years, and the information that was touched on in this book has hit home on many topics I have come across. After being in the fitness and health industry for as long as I have, I still learned more after reading this book. It tells it like it is and backs it up with real experiences. Puts real life questions to the test. I would recommend this book to new eager dieters to the veterans who have tried many diets already and have a grasp on health already.
I was skeptical at first but it was definitely worth taking a look at. It was a very different approach then almost every fitness book I have ever read. The more in depth he goes, the better he makes his calorie argument. Just by using the eating more technique with delayed eating, I was able to lose 10 pounds in two weeks. I am one of the people he described in the book, I would lose weight but always put it back on trying other diets. I would highly recommend this book just to learn some of the new concepts.
He tried to dumb it down, but it was still over my head. Maybe "training" means "workout?" Not sure how to "carb load" or "fast." I mean, there is a lot of good stuff in here, but I have no idea how to incorporate it. I get the concept, and can buy into the premise-would have been better for me to see more succinct "guidelines" under distinct subtitles.
